We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Hospice Care team as a PRN RN. This is an excellent opportunity for an RN who wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others while enjoying the flexibility of a PRN schedule.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Manage patient pain and symptoms, and provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, and maintain up-to-date records.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Minimum one year current clinical experience as a registered nurse.
- Minimum one year experience in an acute medical-surgical or home care setting.
