Plexus Scientific Corporation, a leader in environmental solutions, is on the lookout for an Environmental Project Manager (PM) to enhance our Environmental Remediation Group (ERG). The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing a diverse array of projects, ensuring that milestones are met for various remedial investigations, feasibility studies, designs, and remedial actions, including long-term monitoring and site closure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance and leadership on multiple projects or a singular large-scale project to guarantee the achievement of contract performance objectives, timelines, and financial outcomes.
- Supervise team members and subcontractors assigned to your projects.
- Assist in organizing, planning, drafting, reviewing, and editing project documentation in support of other ERG initiatives.
- Keep company management informed about project performance and seek assistance when necessary to ensure optimal Contractor Performance Assessment Rating System (CPARS) ratings.
- Support the Group's objectives by preparing competitive technical and financial proposals.
- Maintain clear communication with client personnel regarding project status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Conduct regular cost-to-complete analyses on fixed-price projects.
- Engage effectively with clients, regulatory bodies, and team members.
- Ensure project goals are met to enhance client satisfaction and increase the potential for future work.
- Travel may be required for project-related activities, with the scope varying by project.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering is required.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Geologist (PG) registration/license is mandatory.
- 10-15 years of relevant experience, particularly in managing CERCLA and RCRA projects, is preferred.
- Experience in fieldwork, workplan development, project management, data analysis, and report writing is essential.
- The successful candidate will exhibit a strong sense of responsibility, initiative, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent technical writing skills and attention to detail are crucial.
- Strong organizational and verbal communication skills are necessary.
- Ability to work independently, collaboratively, and in a leadership capacity is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is expected.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
