Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with preceptors to design and deliver orientation programs for new staff members.
  • Develop and implement ongoing staff development initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Provide guidance on conflict resolution and consensus-building strategies.
  • Represent Case Management/Social Work at organizational committee meetings.
  • Serve as a liaison between Albany Medical Center and external agencies, including SNF Administrators, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and operational procedures.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures, standards of care, and monitoring processes.
  • Demonstrate expertise in CMS, DOH, OMH, OPWDD laws and regulations.
  • Provide guidance on entitlement eligibility, managed care, guardianship, immigration, and naturalization laws.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess advanced knowledge and expertise in regulatory compliance, policy development, and staff education. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
