Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT scans on patients, ensuring accurate and safe imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Operate and maintain CT scanners, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure high-quality images and patient safety.
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication, ensuring a positive experience for patients and families.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Current ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in radiology, with preference for CT experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
