Assembly Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Orscheln Products. As an Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling components in a cost-effective and quality manner, while ensuring safety and meeting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble components in accordance with designated specifications and guidelines.
• Recognize and call out critical characteristic symbols on blueprints.
• Communicate effectively with assembly team members to ensure product quality and timely completion.
• Perform assigned tasks to ensure product accuracy and on-time delivery.
• Assist teammates in completing tasks efficiently and effectively.
• Document and maintain product information as required.
• Participate in team operations to improve efficiencies and reduce costs.
• Perform assembly-specific skills within acceptable time limits with proper training.
• Follow all 6S and Safety Guidelines.

Requirements:

• High School degree or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Prior assembly experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to perform all safety-critical functions.
• Ability to recognize and call out critical characteristic symbols on blueprints.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
