Position Summary:
Reporting directly to the Assembly Supervisor, this role presents a significant opportunity to assist in overseeing production while ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.

Work Schedule:
First Shift: 6:30 am to 5 pm - Monday through Thursday - with most Fridays off.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily operations to meet production targets.
2. Ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained to support assembly lines.
3. Facilitate comprehensive training for new team members.
4. Achieve all safety, quality, productivity, and maintenance goals.
5. Accurately complete daily reports, repair logs, and checklists.
6. Maintain clear communication with supervisors and team members across all levels.
7. Monitor repair processes and scrap rates, providing corrective feedback to supervisors.
8. Perform basic mathematical calculations as required.
9. Stand and walk for extended periods, with the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment; assembly experience is essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Consistent attendance and a safe work history are mandatory.
- Self-motivated with the ability to thrive under pressure.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in a manufacturing setting.
- Ability to provide and accept constructive feedback.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and practices.
- Understanding of ergonomic principles as they relate to the workplace.
- Flexibility to assist in various production lines as needed.
- Preferred experience in compressor assembly and electric motor systems.
- Previous experience in managing or supervising production teams.
