  • Architect cost-effective data solutions by leveraging cloud services efficiently, minimizing unnecessary expenses.
  • Establish seamless integration between various cloud-based data services and applications, ensuring interoperability and data consistency.
  • Develop architectures that support big data processing and analytics applications within the cloud environment.
  • Design and implement robust backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data resilience and continuity in the cloud.
  • Work closely with cybersecurity teams to fortify data protection measures against cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Create documentation and present data architecture concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Help set standards and comply with data governance policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure safe and sound business operations.
Requirements
  • Seven or more years of experience using Cloud Data solutions in Amazon Web Services and/or Microsoft Azure.
  • Seven or more years of experience with effectively architecting, managing, and optimizing data solutions to leverage the benefits offered by cloud technologies.
  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience that includes knowledge of Cloud Data Solutions, Data Warehousing, Data Integration, and Database Management.
  • Experience using 3rd party cloud data warehouse solutions such as Snowflake or Data Bricks is a plus.
  • Knowledgeable in the strategy and design of Database Management and Data Warehousing solutions in a Cloud infrastructure.
