Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Body Shop Helper to join our team at Gwinnett Place Honda Collision Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting our technicians in identifying and performing necessary body repair work in accordance with factory and Collision Center specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist technicians in examining body damage on customer vehicles
  • Help identify necessary body repair work
  • Request and assist in obtaining necessary parts
  • Assist technicians in performing body repairs, including removing damaged body parts and replacing with fixed or new parts
  • Document repairs performed
  • Assist in performing body repairs efficiently and according to Collision Center and insurance company guidelines
  • Maintain CSI at or above Company standards
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area
  • Participate in required training
  • Record all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system
  • Follow Safeguards rules and regulations
Requirements
  • General knowledge of body repair methods
  • Collision Center repair training or commensurate experience
  • Ability to operate equipment necessary to perform Collision Center repair functions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Basic Computer skills to utilize timekeeping system
Work Environment

This position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts may include evening hours, weekends, and holidays. Duties are performed primarily in the Collision Center, and the employee must be able to lift up to 80 pounds.
