About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Technician to join our team at Wicked Weed Brewing. As a key member of our packaging department, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment to package beer in various containers, including kegs, bottles, and cans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate packaging department equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality production.
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform routine maintenance to minimize downtime.
  • Clean and maintain bottling, kegging, and canning lines to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
  • Collaborate with the packaging team to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in a production or packaging environment preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office software.
Work Environment

The work environment is that of a brewery, with regular exposure to hazardous machinery, materials, and chemicals. The employee will work on wet floors and with wet equipment, and will be regularly exposed to high voltage, hot water, and steam.

Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 160 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk on wet and/or slippery surfaces.
  • Ability to frequently sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb.
