Maintenance Manager Job Description

The Judge Group is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance team responsible for electrical and mechanical maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, with a minimum of five years of supervisory experience in both mechanical and electrical domains.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the maintenance team and ensure the upkeep of various plant systems, including material processing, pneumatic, hydraulic, and pumping operations.
  • Lead maintenance personnel in tasks required to maintain, repair, or replace equipment.
  • Provide guidance in diagnosing machinery issues and organize maintenance operations, including preventative measures, to guarantee uninterrupted production.
  • Liaise with production management to coordinate maintenance efforts and minimize operational disruptions.
  • Manage the maintenance schedule during periods of plant closure and contribute to the development of the annual maintenance budget.
  • Draft and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain the condition of tools and workspaces.
  • Uphold quality management protocols and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Handle scheduling and payroll for the maintenance team and adhere to all safety protocols.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of an Associate's degree in a relevant technical discipline.
  • At least five years of supervisory experience in industrial maintenance, encompassing both mechanical and electrical domains.
  • Proficiency in electrical maintenance is essential.
  • Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
