Job Title: EEG Tech

Catholic Health Physicians Practices is seeking a skilled EEG Tech to join our team. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the highest level of accuracy in EEG testing.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented EEG Tech to perform EEGs with an emphasis on quality tracings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in evoked response testing, including VER/BAER/SSEP testing, and be able to manage equipment calibration and maintenance.

Responsibilities:
  • Entry of patient demographic and clinical data to support reporting and/or integration with electronic medical record
  • Perform all EEGs with an emphasis on quality tracings
  • Manage equipment calibration and maintenance
  • Ensure adequate inventory level for all related consumable supplies
  • Ordering of such supplies
  • Set up and clean up of testing environment
Requirements:
  • High School graduate or G.E.D.
  • Successful completion of EEG training from an accredited school
  • Must be competent in detection of cardiac arrhythmias
  • Minimum 1 year previous experience in acute care setting preferred
  • New graduates accepted
  • REEG certification preferred, but not mandatory if candidate by experience
Working Conditions:

The position requires extended periods of both walking and sitting. Ability to bend, stretch, reach, handle/finger delicate objects. Must be able to lift and position patients. Excellent verbal and auditory skills required for communicating clearly and effectively with patients, physicians, families, care team members, other hospital departments.

Salary:

USD $34.86 /Hr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and position location.
