The WWSO is dedicated to addressing our customers' most complex challenges by developing and executing go-to-market strategies that transform AWS concepts into substantial business opportunities.
As a member of WWSO, you will offer your expertise throughout the lifecycle of AWS customer initiatives, from conceptualizing new services to enhancing the adoption of existing solutions. We pride ourselves on our innovative thinking, exceptional customer outcomes, and collaborative spirit across AWS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the voice of the customer; collaborate with both field and central teams to relay customer feedback to product development teams. Lead the curation of tailored feature requests for unique customer scenarios.
- Provide advanced technical insights to your aligned GTM teams to address our customers' most significant business challenges.
- Maintain the technical standards for specialist artifacts and ensure quality across the board.
- Work alongside your GTM colleagues to integrate technical insights into GTM strategies and support local marketing efforts through technical events and customer engagements.
- Serve as a thought leader by sharing best practices through various channels, including AWS blogs, whitepapers, and public speaking engagements.
- Guide and support an internal community of technical experts aligned with your customers. Develop enablement materials for the broader Solutions Architect community to facilitate the integration of new AWS solutions into customer architectures.
- Assist customers in deploying services such as Amazon WorkSpaces, Amazon AppStream 2.0, and Amazon WorkDocs.
Basic Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in customer-facing roles related to virtualized desktops (VDI) and applications, preferably within enterprise environments.
- 4+ years of experience in provisioning, migrating, and managing end user computing services.
- 4+ years of experience with Microsoft infrastructure technologies, including Active Directory and systems management.
- A technical background in engineering, computer science, or Management Information Systems is advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders across various teams, including internal and external executives.
- Proven credibility as a technology advisor to customer executives and business leaders.
- Experience in negotiating complex agreements with customers and partners.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, including public and hybrid cloud platforms.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
