RiverWoods Durham is a leading provider of senior care services, seeking a Full-Time Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) to join our team.
Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you will have the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. As a Licensed Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing direct resident care, including assistance with activities of daily living, mobility, and functional nursing care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct care and assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting, to promote health and independence.
- Assist with mobility and functional nursing care as defined by the nursing care plan, including transfers, ambulation, ROM, splint application, positioning, sit-stand lifts, Hoyer lifts, and whirlpool.
- Develop professional relationships with residents, family members, co-workers, and supervisors, fostering open communication based on mutual respect.
- Assist with assessments and treatment procedures as defined by the State Nursing Practice Act and facility policy, including TPR's, BP's, weights, specimen collection, skin care, O2 stats, and O2.
- Follow Infection Control guidelines, including Standard Precautions, handling of Biohazardous materials, and isolation techniques.
- Be familiar with and assist with care protocols, including falls prevention, safety, elopement, behavior management, skin integrity, and bowel and bladder management.
- Accept resident assignment and direction from the Nurse Leader, observing and reporting any change in physical or mental function.
- Active NH LNA License
- Prior experience working directly with senior citizens is strongly preferred
The salary for this position is estimated to be around $21.50 per hour, with competitive pay, medical and dental insurance, 403(b) retirement plan, LNA Career Ladder, Earned Time off, Paid Holidays, Wellness Programs, Employee meal program, Education assistance/Tuition Reimbursement, and more.
