About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Oncology team at Providence Holy Cross Medical Center. As an Oncology Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to oncology patients, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient conditions.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop strategies to address these needs.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in oncology care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire.
  • 1 year of Nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • National Certification in area of specialty upon hire.
