About the Role
We are seeking experienced Certified Registered Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our team as Medical Providers for our After Hours Care Clinic. As a Medical Provider, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses, performing patient examinations, prescribing medication, and communicating with primary care providers regarding patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses.
- Perform patient examinations, including pre-ops.
- Prescribe medication.
- Order diagnostic tests.
- Communicate with primary care providers regarding patient care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Minimum of 2 years related experience in primary care.
- Ability to empathize with patients.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Computer literate/Proficiency in EMR (NextGen experience preferred).
