Job Summary

The Registered Nurse FSED PRN position at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood is a dynamic opportunity for a skilled nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating the nursing care of assigned patients, utilizing your expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing technical skills, and documenting patient information.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • Participate in hospital and departmental meetings to contribute to quality improvement initiatives and share best practices.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical knowledge and skills, including advanced cardiac life support, basic cardiac life support, and pediatric advanced life support.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Texas.
  • One or more years of recent clinical experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in an emergency room setting.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
