Job Summary

PIH Health Whittier Hospital is seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Radiation Oncology department.

Responsibilities
  • Certification and Licensure
    • ARRT T certification
    • ARRT certification
    • BLS certification
    • CSRT certification
    • State license
  • Job Details
    • Full-time position with varied schedules, including 5x8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday
    • Shifts can range from 7am to 7pm, 8am-7pm, 9am-7pm, or 10am-7pm, with a minimum of 8 hours per shift
    • Opportunities for overtime
    • Weekends required during holidays, based on unit needs
    • Patient age group: Adults, Geriatrics
  • Requirements
    • Certifications: ARRT T, ARRT, BLS, CSRT, State License
    • Required skills: CBCT/kV/mV imaging, Electron Field, External Beam Therapy, IMRT - Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy, Stereotactic Radiosurgery
  • Schedule Information
    • Full-time position with varied schedules
    • Shifts can range from 7am to 7pm, 8am-7pm, 9am-7pm, or 10am-7pm
    • Opportunities for overtime
    • Weekends required during holidays, based on unit needs
  • Additional Requirements
    • RTO must be submitted with application
    • No RTO for the first two weeks of an assignment
    • Government-issued photo ID required
    • Emergency Contact Form required prior to start
    • Physical within 1 year of start required
    • FDI sent directly to the traveler the Friday prior to start
    • Education verification required
