Job Overview

As a highly skilled FPGA Design Engineer IV, you will play a critical role in the design and development of advanced digital systems for the aerospace and defense industries. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects, and utilize your expertise in HDL programming, verification methodologies, and scripting languages to drive innovation and excellence.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded systems design, with experience in the development of complex digital circuits and systems. They should also have a solid understanding of modern verification methodologies, including UVM/OVM, and be proficient in scripting languages such as Perl, TCL, and Python. Additionally, the selected individual will be able to analyze complex problems, identify key issues, and develop effective solutions, while maintaining excellent communication and teamwork skills.

This is a full-time position with a 4/10 work schedule and 1st shift hours. The annual salary range for this position is approximately $120,000 - $160,000, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, applicants responding to this position may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements by currently possessing the ability to view classified government information.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
- Experience in the design of FPGA and/or ASIC devices
- HDL programming experience with VHDL, Verilog, and/or SystemVerilog
- Modern verification methodologies such as UVM/OVM
- Scripting languages such as Perl, TCL, and Python
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
