Highly Skilled Traveling Cardiac Catheterization Technologist Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in Dubuque, Iowa. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a top healthcare client and provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced cardiac catheterization lab environment.
About the Role
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide technical assistance to the cardiac catheterization team and deliver high-quality patient care. You will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, operating ancillary equipment, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Additionally, you will work closely with cardiologists and other medical professionals to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures by positioning them appropriately and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate ancillary equipment, such as electrocardiogram machines and monitoring devices, to support the cardiac catheterization team.
- Assist cardiologists during procedures by obtaining necessary inventory and medications as ordered.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
- Work effectively with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A current license in good standing and appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
- At least two years of experience in a cath lab setting, preferably in a critical care environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- A commitment to providing exceptional patient care and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Benefits
This travel assignment offers a competitive salary of $$140,000 per year, plus benefits including weekly pay, direct deposit, full coverage of credentialing fees, private housing or a housing allowance, group health insurance, company-paid life and disability insurance, tax-free stipends, and travel reimbursement.
