Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician

About the Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Technician to join our quality team at George Schmitt & Company. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

The Quality Assurance Technician will be responsible for:

  • Performing inspections of products, processes, and systems to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Managing process documentation for critical customer/production processes.
  • Supporting the administration of facility quality programs.
  • Conducting daily audits of departmental processes and paperwork.
  • Preparation of reports and analysis as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of quality department experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to interpret and implement customer specifications/requirements.
  • Exceptional visual acuity and color discrimination.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including spreadsheets and word processing.
