Job Title: Finished Product Manager

At Darling Ingredients Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finished Product Manager to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of food safety training protocols within our production processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the final product meets our stringent quality standards and is meticulously documented in alignment with our Food Safety plan.
  • Manage our inventory operations within the Oracle system, utilizing your expertise in inventory control to maintain the seamless flow of goods and materials.
  • Review and evaluate qualitative data reports to verify that product meets Company specifications.
  • Serve as plant liaison with Central Lab & Corporate Sales Office with respect to quality, while managing the lab.
  • Submit results for all testing to appropriate management staff.
  • Responsible for moving product from one location to another.
  • Operate heavy equipment to load materials.
  • Maintain housekeeping for safe and neat work area.
  • Knowledgeable of plant products and specifications.
  • Responsible for Loadout Operations.
  • Maintain and report weekly product inventories.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in reviewing & comprehending qualitative data reports to verify product meets specifications.
  • Comprehension and understanding of product flow in an industrial production environment preferred.
  • Prior quality assurance experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Work well with others in a team, management, and regulatory environment.
  • Highly organized and safety conscious.
  • Superior time management skills; detail oriented and able to multi-task.
  • Ability to deal with minor problems involving equipment or various situations.
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and oral.
  • Basic math skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers.

Work Environment:

Job functions will be carried out in a plant environment which requires tolerance for high heat and/or cold temperatures.
