Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) professional to join our team at Albanese Confectionery Group, Inc. As an EHS Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, and develop corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Collaborate with departmental leaders to develop and implement safety procedures and protocols.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on EHS-related matters.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., environmental science, occupational health and safety).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in EHS, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
Preferred Qualifications
  • OSHA 10 and 30 certifications.
  • Experience with LMS systems and audit procedures.
  • First Aid and CPR certifications.
  • Designations in safety (e.g., CSP, CIH).
