With over 325 locations across the country, we are dedicated to providing exceptional support to our clients.
Caring Transitions of Ambler specializes in assisting individuals, both seniors and non-seniors, in making seamless and stress-free transitions between living situations. We are currently seeking dedicated Part-time Team Members to work in various regions.
Position Summary:
As a part of our team, you will provide outstanding customer service while safely and efficiently assisting clients in downsizing, relocating, and liquidating items through both online and in-person estate sales. Each day presents unique challenges, and your efforts will significantly impact the lives of our clients.
Flexible Work Environment:
We offer part-time positions with no required or guaranteed hours, making it an ideal opportunity for parents with school-aged children, retirees, or anyone with a busy lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with team members to assist clients in downsizing and relocating, as well as managing the liquidation of unneeded items.
- Organize, pack, unpack, and help clients settle into their new homes or senior living facilities.
- Sort items for recycling, donation, disposal, and cleanout.
- Utilize handheld devices to document, photograph, and describe items.
- Sort, organize, research, label, and prepare items for resale.
- Support buyers during on-site pickups and sales.
- Maintain physical stamina by standing for extended periods, bending, lifting up to 25 pounds, and performing various tasks related to packing and moving.
- Adhere to best practices, health and safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Demonstrated compassion and respect for clients and their families.
- Strong verbal communication skills with fluency in English.
- Able to work effectively in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
- Willingness to work in cluttered or less-than-ideal conditions; necessary protective gear will be provided.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Punctual and detail-oriented.
- Access to reliable transportation and a smartphone for scheduling and project management.
- Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment background check is required.
Compensation:
Hourly wage ranges from $14 to $18, based on experience and motivation.
