About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Northeast Georgia Health System, Inc. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for exams, explain procedures, and position patients for optimal imaging.
  • Perform a variety of technical procedures, including ultrasound exams, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with new technologies and techniques.
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
  • ARDMS certification in one or more modalities.
  • 1-2 years of experience in ultrasound imaging, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
