Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Facilities Operations Manager to join our team at Salute Mission Critical. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data center facilities and delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Command and Control: Provide expert-level guidance and oversight to ensure the efficient operation of critical infrastructure systems, including electrical, mechanical, and life-safety systems.
  • Operations Management: Develop and implement effective operations strategies to ensure 100% uptime and client satisfaction.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Plan, coordinate, and execute preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and manage a team of critical facility engineers, technicians, and suppliers to ensure seamless operations and exceptional client service.
  • Performance Metrics: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and optimize operations.
  • Vendor Management: Ensure that vendors adhere to our operations playbook, work rules, and EH&S policies.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent with two years of technical school or relevant military experience.
  • Experience: Progressive experience in critical facilities operations, maintenance, and engineering, with a focus on data center environments.
  • Skills: Demonstrated expertise in critical data center systems, including HVAC, standby emergency power, uninterruptible power supplies, and associated infrastructure.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in various environments.
