Soliant Education is seeking a qualified School Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological services to students across both elementary and middle school levels.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct individual and group psychoeducational assessments to identify students' academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Develop and interpret psychological reports with recommendations for interventions and support strategies.
- Collaborate with general and special education teachers, administrators, and parents to create effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to address students' social-emotional needs, including anxiety, depression, and peer relationships.
- Consult with teachers and staff on classroom management strategies and positive behavior interventions and supports (PBIS).
- Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote positive school climate and student well-being.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices in school psychology and participate in professional development opportunities.
- California State Pupil Services Credential (School Psychologist) or eligibility for licensure.
- Prior experience working in a school setting with students of diverse backgrounds and needs is preferred, particularly experience with both elementary and middle school students.
- Strong assessment skills in the areas of intellectual functioning, academic achievement, social-emotional development, and behavior.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and school staff.
- Proficiency in data analysis and report writing.
- Collaborative and team-oriented approach with a commitment to student success.
- Strong understanding of child development and learning theories.
- Knowledge of evidence-based interventions and best practices in school psychology.
