Patient Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Patient Care Specialist to join our team at Trinity Health. As a Patient Care Specialist, you will provide direct patient care under the direction of a registered nurse, considering the patient's age-specific, developmental, cultural, and spiritual needs.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients with completing daily living activities, including bathing, showering, toileting, positioning, turning, transferring, ambulation, and feeding.
- Collect and send specimens, including blood and blood cultures, and insert and remove peripheral IV catheters.
- Record patient information and required data in appropriate areas to meet documentation requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to provide high-quality patient care.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one year of previous direct care experience in an acute or long-term setting, or successful completion of a CENA, PCT, MA, or EMT course.
- Student nurses must have completed their nursing fundamentals class of a BSN program.
