FP&A Director Job Description

A dynamic and growing health services company in New Jersey is seeking an experienced FP&A Director to join their team. In this critical role, you will provide forward-looking information to assist with decision-making responsibilities and deliver FP&A processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business growth and strategic planning
  • Create annual operating budgets and long-term forecasts to inform business decisions
  • Integrate with the accounting team to support efficient monthly financials preparation and close
  • Develop and prepare organizational and practice-specific monthly forecasts, variance analysis, internal and external financial presentations
  • Lead the annual company budget process and monthly tracking of budget initiatives and attainment
  • Conduct variance analysis to investigate and explain differences between actual results and forecasts
  • Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly, and quarterly information to the Executive Leadership Team, the Board of Directors, and operational leadership
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
  • 6+ years of experience in FP&A and/or Corporate Finance experience
  • Experience working with US and international companies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced computing skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and financial modeling tool
