Job Summary

This role is located in our paint shop and is responsible for preparing and spray-painting parts or assemblies. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a paint shop with manual air-guns and be proficient in AS9100 standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct a visual inspection of parts to be painted and ensure they are properly cleaned before proceeding.
  • Adjust pistols, prepare mixtures according to prescribed standards, and clean parts.
  • Perform moderately complex operations requiring care and precision, with monetary consequences.
  • Mask and demask parts to be painted, and prepare mixtures of transparent sealant and cosmetic paint.
  • Build and adjust measuring instruments.
Requirements
  • High school diploma
  • Aerospace experience a bonus, but not required
  • 2 years' experience working in a paint shop with manual air-guns
Preferred Qualifications
  • AS9100 Experience
  • Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
