Job Title: Lead Server

At Vail Resorts, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Server to join our team at The Hythe - Marriott Luxury Collection. As a Lead Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring seamless table management, and leading a team of servers to deliver an unforgettable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of servers to ensure efficient table management and exceptional guest service.
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of menu items, including food, drinks, and specials.
  • Upsell and promote menu items to guests, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with the Restaurant Manager and Food and Beverage team to ensure seamless service.
  • Ensure all state health regulations and liquor laws are adhered to.
  • Manage cash and credit card transactions, including tip-outs to bartenders and food runners.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Able to communicate in English.
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish - preferred.
  • Prior serving experience.
  • Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • TIPS certification required.
