The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a qualified Nursing Director to oversee the nursing operations in our long-term care facility. This leadership role requires a strong background in nursing, with at least 5 years of experience in geriatric care and a bachelor's degree in nursing.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage nursing staff and ensure compliance with regulations and organizational standards
  • Develop and implement clinical programs, policies, and procedures to improve the quality and efficiency of services
  • Maintain effective communication with medical staff, department heads, and administrators
  • Provide nursing care to residents as needed and assist in the development of marketing activities and community outreach initiatives
  • Lead the development and execution of clinical programs, policies, and protocols to ensure system integration and adherence

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing required; graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred
  • At least 5 years of nursing experience in geriatric care, including housing with services, HUD, and/or assisted living experience
  • Unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
