About This Opportunity
Adelphi Medical Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting. This is a contract/travel position offering competitive compensation and the chance to make a real difference in a vibrant community.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care within the Emergency Department, ensuring timely and accurate assessments, interventions, and treatments.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all established protocols and procedures.
- Demonstrate strong clinical judgment, critical thinking skills, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and efficiently.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience working as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse in a hospital setting.
- 3 months or more of travel nursing experience preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is highly desirable.
- Current and active Nursys verification, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Valid Vermont nursing license or a compact state license that allows for practice in Vermont.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
