We are seeking a dedicated and safety-conscious Container Delivery Driver to join our team at Murrey's Disposal, a Waste Connections company. While a CDL is preferred, it is not mandatory for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a garbage truck safely along designated routes to collect solid waste.
  • Read and follow route sheets, providing service to each customer as assigned by the dispatcher.
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks such as loading and unloading, often without assistance.
  • Interact courteously with customers and complete additional job-related tasks as needed.

Working Conditions:

This position requires extensive physical activity, including lifting, pushing, or pulling objects over 50 pounds. You will work in various outdoor conditions, which may include wet or humid weather, as well as exposure to fumes and vibrations. Noise levels are typically moderate.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement preferred.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English; high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
