Job Title: Per Diem Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Job Summary:

The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for assessing patients' respiratory conditions, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing education to patients and their families. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' respiratory conditions and develop treatment plans
  • Provide respiratory care services, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Provide education to patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Current State Nursing License
  • Minimum 1-year acute care experience in a hospital setting
  • Appropriate certifications for the specific position
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
