Computed Tomography Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at LifeBridge Health. As a CT Scan Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomography scans on patients, ensuring accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures
  • Position patients correctly and safely for scanning procedures
  • Administer contrast agents as needed to enhance image quality
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records of patient scans and results
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest imaging technologies and techniques

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Computed Tomography (CT)
  • 1-3 years of experience in computed tomography scanning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
