Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or equivalent.
  • Active license to practice nursing in the State of Iowa.
  • Certification by a nationally recognized nursing organization is preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training.

Working Conditions:

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interruptions and a high level of mental concentration. The Registered Nurse must be able to lift and carry patients and equipment, and must be able to stand for long periods of time.
