The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Art, Studio Art, Art Education, or Art History, or a Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Art, Studio Art, or Art History. The ideal candidate will have a strong teaching philosophy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material.

Key Responsibilities

The Adjunct Faculty member will be responsible for:

  • Teaching Art courses at a variety of times and locations
  • Creating engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material
  • Submits required college reports and forms in a timely manner
  • Utilizing a course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines
  • Maintaining professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community
  • Attending meetings, trainings, and orientations as required
Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have a Master's degree in Art, Studio Art, Art Education, or Art History, or a Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Art, Studio Art, or Art History. A strong teaching philosophy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material are essential.
