Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Recovery Advocate Specialist to join our team at Phaxis. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with clients to consider entering treatment and provide support throughout the process.
  • Link clients to formal recovery supports and educate them about various modes of recovery.
  • Assist clients with applying for benefits and accompany them to court appearances and medical appointments.
  • Provide non-clinical crisis support and model coping skills.
  • Work with clients to identify strengths and develop personalized recovery plans.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) or CRPA-P.
  • 1+ year of experience in an outpatient setting or Mental Health/Substance Abuse setting.
  • Knowledge of various recovery systems/approaches and EMR software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
