Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Home Health Care Professional to join our team at Health First. As a Private Duty LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity that requires flexibility and adaptability. As a Private Duty LPN, your primary responsibility will be to provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN. You will utilize nursing practice/care standards and elements of good service for effective delivery of home nursing services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Registered Nurse in utilizing the nursing process to provide responsible patient care.
  • Participate in assessing the patient's health status per established standards.
  • Document and report deviations from the patient's usual or expected responses.
  • Reinforce patient and family teaching instituted by the Registered Nurse.
  • Acknowledge responsibility for personal and professional accountability and development, including maintenance of all required personnel credentials.
  • Perform procedures and treatments with skill and efficiency.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of operation.
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in home health care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $65,000-$75,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
