Electrical Hardware Design Expert

Staffing Matches is seeking an Electrical Hardware Design Expert to join our team in a hands-on position designing electronic hardware with microprocessor-based controllers, microcontrollers, FPGAs, digital circuit design, PCB layouts, etc.

We are looking for a talented individual with 8+ years of experience in Electronics hardware design in at least 2 of the following areas:

• Design of Low power microprocessor-based controllers
• High speed communication systems and Ethernet-based networks
• Programmable logic design
• Digital circuit design
• Low power analogue circuit design
• Optical/Imaging components and systems
• RF components and systems

The ideal candidate will have a BS or MS in Electrical, Electronics, Computer engineering or relevant field. Additionally, they will have experience working closely with other hardware engineers in Pittsburgh and the UK, leading architecture, design reviews with internal teams and suppliers, and performing testing and validation of hardware prior to its release.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design electronics hardware (intrinsically safe electronic sensors and control hardware)
• Engage with an experienced cross-disciplinary team of embedded, robotics, and hardware engineers to formulate and design innovative products
• Technical ownership for the hardware design projects
• Lead various aspects of electronic product readiness including manufacturability
• Perform testing and validation of hardware prior to their release

Requirements:

• $120,000 - $150,000 per year
• BS or MS in Electrical, Electronics, Computer engineering or relevant field
• 8+ years' of experience in Electronics hardware design in at least 2 of the above areas
