Medical Surgical Unit Overview
At Della Infotech, we are seeking a skilled RN Telemetry I to join our medical surgical unit. This unit is partnered with orthopedic, bariatric, spine, and inpatient oncology departments, providing a dynamic and challenging work environment. As a RN Telemetry I, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Conduct thorough assessments and monitor patients' conditions, identifying potential complications and taking prompt action to prevent them
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate dosing and timing
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes
Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices in telemetry nursing
Requirements
Current RN licensure in the state of practice
BSN degree or higher
1+ years of experience in telemetry nursing
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
