Position Overview:
Under the general oversight of the Chief Clinical Laboratory Scientist, the incumbent will collect and process patient specimens while conducting a variety of clinical laboratory tests essential for diagnosing and treating medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, interpret, and report laboratory test results, ensuring precision and reliability.
- Verify test outcomes as required and promptly inform relevant personnel of critical findings, maintaining proper documentation.
- Deliver diagnostic laboratory services catering to neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Educational background fulfilling certification, licensing, or registration requirements.
- Possession of a California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License upon hire.
Preferred:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
