The Role of the Certified Surgical Technologist
The Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) plays a crucial role in our Operative Team, which consists of skilled surgical technologists, nurses, surgeons, and anesthesiologists. This team is renowned for its outstanding clinical outcomes and is committed to delivering high-quality, cost-effective surgical care. The CST is responsible for ensuring a safe operating room environment, preparing necessary surgical supplies and equipment, and adhering to principles of asepsis and sterile techniques.
Key Responsibilities
As a CST, you will:
- Assist in facilitating safe and effective surgical procedures under the supervision of the surgeon.
- Maintain a safe and organized operating room environment.
- Collaborate with a highly skilled interprofessional team.
- Adapt to new procedures and protocols in a multidisciplinary setting.
Work Schedule
Our team operates Monday through Friday, with a mix of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts. Staff members cover weekends, holidays, and are part of an on-call rotation.
