Radiologic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Community Care Partners. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for preparing patients for and performing standard x-ray examinations, utilizing x-ray equipment and proper technique. Your expertise will also be utilized in performing blood draws, taking vital signs, inputting medical histories, administering medication injections and vaccines, and assisting providers in medical procedures.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities- Operate radiologic equipment in accordance with prescribed safety standards
- Position patients and x-ray equipment to achieve desired diagnostic images
- Apply knowledge and experience with appropriate shielding protocols
- Prepare patients for examination, taking vital signs and history, and provide treatment as applicable
- Perform blood draws and administer medication injections and vaccines
- Prepare exam/treatment rooms, select, setup, sterilize, and maintain medical supplies and equipment for procedures
- Select length and intensity of radiation exposure on individual patient basis or to specification of examination
- Use CR and DR systems
- Examine images for properties such as density, contrast, definition, magnification, and distortion
- Send and store images
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
- Current state Radiologic Technologist licensure
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers
- Prior Radiologic Technologist experience (preferred), however new graduates are encouraged to apply
