This is an exceptional opportunity to work on the cutting edge of imaging software and protocols, using evidence-based practices to guide patient care. As a CT Scan Technician, you will work in a team-centered culture with dedicated tech educators for your modality to ensure ongoing development and unwavering support.

You will not only ensure the proper positioning and scanning of patients, but also have the opportunity to work on quality improvement committees, learn new software, test new equipment, and participate in research studies beyond daily clinical care.

The Computed Tomography team at Johns Hopkins is dedicated to providing the best possible images at the lowest possible dose. All technical and patient dose settings are customized for each patient, and technologists actively partake in discussions on determining the best protocols for cases.

Under the general supervision of the Chief CT Technologist and Senior CT technologist, you will perform CT protocols and procedures utilizing highly technical CT equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Work requires completion of an AMA approved program for Radiologic Technology or equivalent, which is required in a two-year college or technical school program.

Three to six months work experience in CT Imaging.
ARRT certified with current registration required. Radiography license by the Maryland Board of Physicians required.
CPR certification required with three months of employment.
Preferred post-primary ARRT Computed Tomography CT certification.

Shift:
Night Shift, (40 hours)

6:30pm - 7:00am

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

Salary Range:
Minimum 38.41 per hour - Maximum 63.42 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
