Job Summary

This role is responsible for the enrollment of all licensed child care programming, including Camp, Child Care, and School Age Child Care. The successful candidate will provide exceptional customer service to YMCA staff and program families, ensuring a high level of satisfaction and compliance with YMCA policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and distribute enrollment packets, assist parents with paperwork completion, and collect payments.
  2. Update and maintain all relevant forms, including enrollment packets and parent handbooks.
  3. Track and manage information for licensing, rosters, files, allergies, food programs, and special circumstances.
  4. Support other staff and departments in providing documentation for funding and other reports.
  5. Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and employees.
  6. Maintain a commitment to professionalism and quality programming by promoting the YMCA mission and core values.
  7. Assist with preparing for meetings, trainings, and special events.
  8. Attend staff meetings, trainings, and in-services provided by the YMCA.
  9. Comply with all YMCA procedures, processes, and policies.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor or Associate Degree in Business or Accounting is preferred.
  2. CPR/AED and First Aid Certification within 60 days of employment.
  3. Passing of fingerprint and background checks.
  4. Other trainings as required by the YMCA.

Technical Knowledge and Skills:

  1. Proficient in Microsoft Office, accurate data entry, and able to learn in-house programs.
  2. Problem solve, considering various impacting factors, and interpret instructions.
  3. Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to effectively communicate and actively interact with parents, children, participants, and employees. Must be able to lift and carry supplies up to 25 pounds. Must be able to operate office equipment.
