About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Development Consultant to join our team at the American Heart Association. As a Development Consultant, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and support to our affiliate-wide fundraising efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Provide training and support to staff and volunteers on fundraising best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Conduct market research and analysis to inform fundraising strategies
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, sponsors, and partners
  • Manage and track fundraising metrics and performance
  • Develop and implement plans to increase fundraising efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in fundraising, sales, or a related field
  • Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and developing effective fundraising strategies
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and partnership
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform fundraising strategies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
