About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Development Consultant to join our team at the American Heart Association. As a Development Consultant, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and support to our affiliate-wide fundraising efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies to drive revenue growth
- Provide training and support to staff and volunteers on fundraising best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Conduct market research and analysis to inform fundraising strategies
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, sponsors, and partners
- Manage and track fundraising metrics and performance
- Develop and implement plans to increase fundraising efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fundraising, sales, or a related field
- Proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and developing effective fundraising strategies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and partnership
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data to inform fundraising strategies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
