Surgeon Specialist

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled General Surgeon to join our team of medical professionals. As a General Surgeon at Piedmont Healthcare, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to patients across Georgia.

• Perform a range of surgical procedures, including laparoscopic and open surgeries
• Diagnose and treat patients with various medical conditions, including cancer, hernias, and gallstones
• Develop and implement treatment plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, anesthesiologists, and radiologists
• Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and advancements in general surgery

• Board certification in General Surgery
• At least 1-3 years' experience after general surgery residency
• New grad considered if the candidate demonstrates strong clinical and leadership abilities
• Reasonable call schedule
• Significant, steady stream of referrals/consults from the surrounding community
• Opportunity for leadership role as medical director for the eligible candidate
• Robotics experience a plus but not a must
• EPIC EMR
