Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist

The Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist plays a critical role in our innovative cardiovascular program by ensuring top-notch patient care. This position involves collaboration with cardiologists and electrophysiologists to prepare equipment, assess patient conditions, and maintain a sterile environment during procedures. As a key team member, you will serve as a preceptor for new hires and engage in ongoing training to provide exceptional patient care.
Salary and Benefits:
$27.84-$45.46 per hour, based on previous work experience. Job Responsibilities:
- Preparation of equipment before and during procedures.
- Patient assessment and preparation.
- Maintenance of a sterile environment.
- Professional practice, including serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Appropriate use of downtime for tasks such as stocking rooms, checking equipment, and other delegated duties.
- Maintenance of strong professional relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care.
Qualifications and Education:
A minimum 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology, with eligibility for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification. Preferred qualifications include experience in procedural areas, cardiovascular or interventional radiography certification, and Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certifications within six months of hire.
