Job Overview

Kin-Etic Behavioral Health (KBH) is a dynamic group of behavioral health professionals and facilitators. We are seeking an experienced Medical Office Manager to join our team.

This role is pivotal in ensuring the office's overall day-to-day business operations run smoothly and professionally.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all administrative duties to ensure seamless office operations.
  • Schedule appointments, provide intake documents, and maintain calendars.
  • Analyze and execute improvements in office operations and quality of care using continuous quality improvement principles.
  • Work with prescribers to ensure accurate medication authorization and refills.
  • Ensure patient records are current and accurate.
  • Communicate with patients regarding inquiries and complaints.
  • Create exceptional customer experiences.
  • Manage eligibility and insurance authorizations and discharges.
  • Hire and train administrative staff.
  • Develop and implement office policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Establish, manage, and analyze the office budget.
  • Oversee reconciliation of payments.
  • Monitor, supervise, and evaluate administrative staff.
  • Prepare time and attendance reports.
Requirements
  • High School diploma required.
  • Bachelor's degree or associate degree in a related field strongly preferred.
  • Certified Medical Manager (CMM) or Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) advantageous.
  • Minimum two years of work experience in a medical office setting.
  • Minimum two years of supervisory or management experience.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience with reviewing, submitting, analyzing, and adhering to the billing revenue cycle.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA rules and regulations.
  • Human resources experience in hiring, supervision, and performance reviews.
  • Excellent customer service experience skills and computer literacy.
  • Demonstrated skill in using EMR healthcare software.
  • Experience with ADP payroll and Microsoft Suite.
  • Experience with continuous process improvement concepts and practices.

Salary Estimate

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
